Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici insists coach Maurizio Sarri's job is safe - no matter what happens against Lyon.
It's been claimed Sarri could be sacked if Juve fail to win the second-leg of their Champions League round 16 tie.
Paratici said, “One match cannot change the way a season is judged. Winning a Scudetto is always extraordinary, although often we forget that nine years in a row is something unthinkable, especially when I arrived here 10 years ago with the President. If people had told us then, we'd have thought they were crazy.
“So let's begin to appreciate the results we achieved this season, which as the President said, were earned with a tough slog, perhaps tougher than usual due to the many changes and the pandemic.
“Speaking of which, I want to thank the Lega Serie A for allowing us all to conclude the season in the best possible way and experience a little bit of normality again."
