Juventus have sold Diego to Wolfsburg at a loss.
Wolfsburg have paid 15.5m for Diego who returns to the Bundesliga after just one season in Serie A.
The operation records a 5.8m loss in Juventus' accounts following his move from Werder Bremen only last summer.
Diego has signed a four-year contract with Steve McClaren's side. He leaves Juventus having never scored in Turin.
