Juventus are readying a bid for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.

Juve coach Maurizio Sarri insisted Jorginho was fundamental to his playing system, yet departed Chelsea after just one year in charge to take over in Turin.

Now the 61-year-old wants the holding midfielder to form the lynchpin of his side once again, says The Sun.

It is reported Sarri has been considering deals for both Jorginho and another of his former charges N'Golo Kante, but is set to move for the Italian this summer.

The move will likely be a difficult one however, due to Jorginho's renewed importance at Stamford Bridge.

Juve therefore are said to be prepared to offer 26-year-old winger Federico Bernardeschi as bait in the deal, in order to force the hand of the Blues.
