​Juventus negotiate increase with shirt sponsors Jeep

Juventus have announced a reworking of their sponsorship deal with Jeep, which sees the car manufacturer pay an extra €25 million (US$27.8 million) a season through to the end of the 2020/21 campaign, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

With the reworked arrangement, the remainder of the deal would be worth a minimum of €42 million (US$46.74 million) a year and as much as €45 million (US$50.08 million) per year.

A statement on Juventus' website read: 'It is announced that, due to the excellent sport performances achieved in recent years by the first team which contributed to the club's improved Uefa ranking, and due to the increased Juventus brand awareness at a worldwide level, Juventus Football Club SpA. and FCA Italy SpA. agreed to increase the yearly fixed Jeep sponsorship consideration by €25 million for 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 football seasons, including of certain additional sponsorship rights.

'The other provisions set out in the sponsorship agreement executed in April 2012 and in force until 30 June 2021 remain unchanged'.

The club also confirmed that negotiations have already begun to renew the partnership beyond the current agreement.
