Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio insists Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is the 'greatest of all time'.

Marchisio was asked who the strongest player he'd ever gone up against was, and who was the strongest player of all time in his opinion.

"Cristiano Ronaldo, whom I faced last year," he answered in both cases.

"I don't want to talk of [Diego] Maradona or Pelé as I only saw them on tape. So I'll say Ronaldo for his continuity."
