Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur insists they can still win the Scudetto this season.

Bentancur was happy with victory over Genoa on Sunday.

“In the first half we did very well in terms of mentality," Bentancur told Sky Sport Italia. “We improved a lot, but we still have to get better. In the second half we dropped, we handed them the ball and conceded a goal.

“We know we have to do the work in the first half during the whole game. Pirlo hasn't told anything about this now, but he will for sure do it on Tuesday, when we are back in training."

Bentancur added: “Against Napoli and Genoa I felt good, I know I have to improve and I want to continue on this path.

“It will be very important against Atalanta, a tough challenge.

“They are there with us and want to qualify for the Champions League. In any case, even the Scudetto, even if it's far away, is mathematically still within our reach.

“We must continue to win every game in order to reach the maximum at the end of the season."
