Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has popped up on Manchester City's radar.

Corriere dello Sport says City are set to go head to head with Barcelona to sign Bentancur.

The Uruguay international recently signed a new deal with the Serie A champions but competition is fierce in midfield.

City and Barcelona are interested in signing the 22-year-old in the future.

Bentancur has quickly won over Juve coach Maurizio Sarri this term.
