Juventus midfielder Alberto Aquilani says a return to AS Roma is now unlikely.
On-loan from Liverpool, Aquilani was born in Rome and spent seven seasons with the Giallorossi.
But he said: "My present is here at Juventus. We'll see about the future.
"It's a contract question. Juve can exercise the option to buy for quite a high figure.
"The two clubs must talk among themselves and decide."
When asked if it meant a return to Roma is on the cards, he replied: "No, I don't believe that it's possible."
