Juventus are counting on Manchester United failing to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Tuttosport says Juve are eager to bring Paul Pogba back to Turin this summer and are concerned by reports the Frenchman is prepared to now stay and sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
However, while United's board would be happy for Pogba to stay, they will seek to sell the Frenchman should they miss out on Champions League qualification.
The UEFA cash shortfall would be covered by the midfielder's sale.
For their part, Juve are in regular contact with Pogba's agent Mino Raiola in order to be kept up to speed on developments.
