Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is full of praise for teammate Matthijs de Ligt.

Szczesny believes De Ligt has overcome a slow start to his Juve career to start proving his quality.

He said, "De Ligt was unlucky, only the one against Inter was a penalty.

“When you are making handballs for a month, you have to laugh about it. If you avoid talking about it, you make it uncomfortable.

“Matthijs is the combination of two things: he's good at the ball but he's also an animal. [Giorgio] Chiellini got injured and I couldn't feel the difference, that says a lot."
