Juventus keeper Buffon takes part ownership in Carrarese

Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon has gone into club ownership.

Buffon and Cristiano Lucarelli have become part-owners of Lega Pro side Carrarese.

The Juventus goalkeeper bought out 20 per cent of the club's shares under the name Buffon & CO. Srl.

Napoli striker Lucarelli and his father, Maurizio, bought 27.5 per cent through their business Unicoop Servizi.

Buffon has never disguised he is a fan of Carrarese, his local team, as he was born in the Tuscan town of Carrara.

The Italy star was spotted in the stands of their games during his injury lay-off this term.
