Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon is upbeat over their title chances after the arrival of Andrea Pirlo from AC Milan.

Buffon is confident that La Vecchia Signora could be a major player in the 2011-12 campaign.

"The population of Juventini just want to win and I hope to get back to winning ways with the club in 2012," he stated.

"I don't know with which player that will be with. Possibly Pirlo seeing as he is the best signing a side can make."
