Juventus have joined the battle for Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmian.

Darmian's agent admitted last night there had been contact with Inter Milan and Napoli about a January return to Italy - a prospect he could not rule out.

And TMW says champions Juve are also interested in the former Torino star.

It's suggested Juve will seek to offload Stephan Lichtsteiner during the winter market and replace the Swiss with Darmian.

Fausto Pari, Darmian's agent, stated: "He's playing a little or not at all, it's a shame because he is an international. If in January the situation does not change, we must think of something. He risks losing even his national team place."
