The A-League All-Stars have been hindered by news that Alessandro Del Piero has pulled out of the inaugural Foxtel All-Stars game.
The Sydney FC striker is unavailable for the clash with Manchester United at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on July 20 because he is not due to fly out from Europe until a few days after.
The Juventus legend will link up with the Sydney squad for the July 24 meeting with J-League club Sagan Tosu in Japan and will not fly from Italy to Australia for the All-Stars game and then to the Far East for club duties.
In doubt for the United clash is Western Sydney Wanderers marquee man Shinji Ono who is returning to full fitness following a season-ending ankle injury, which occurred late in the 2012/13 A-League campaign, and will not be risked.
