Juventus head shirt sponsorship deals in Serie A

Serie A shirt sponsorships total €115.9 million (US$128.2 million) this year, according to a report by Gazetta dello Sport, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

Minnows Sassuolo have a long-term deal in place with decorating supplies company Mapei, the club's owner, which apparently pays €18 million (US$19.9 million) a year for shirt sponsorship, as well as naming rights to the Mapei Stadium and new training ground. Of the other clubs with a sole sponsor Juventus reportedly bring in the most with their €17 million (US$18.8 million) a year deal with Jeep, AC Milan get €14 million (US$15.4 million) a year from Fly Emirates and Inter's deal with Pirelli is worth €10.5 million (US$11.5 million) a season.

According to the report Roma earn €11 million (US$11.6 million) a year from Qatar Airways while Hyundai sponsor the reverse of the shirt for an additional €3 million (US$3.3 million). Napoli have a patchwork deal led by main sponsor Lete, which pays a total of €9 million (US$9.9 million).

After that the values drop off, down to Lazio who are entering the season without any sponsors after having to give up a €7 million (US$7.7 million) a year deal Marathonbet.

Fiorentina have a notable new deal with Mediacom, the US cable TV company which is also owned by Rocco Commisso, the American businessman who took over the club earlier this summer. That deal is worth €6.5 million (US$7.1 million).
