Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says he can prove he is the best in the world... sort of!

The Pole was able to joke about his career journey in recent years.

“I recently said that when I was in Roma I put Alisson, the best goalkeeper in the world, on the bench. Now, in Juventus, my substitute is one of the best players in history.

"The conclusion is that I am probably the best in the world and in history!" he joked with Przeglad Sportowy.

Beyond jokes, the former Arsenal keeper continued, “An extra year of learning from Gigi (Buffon) is an incalculable experience. It is a good move for Juventus and for me. The possibility of training with him, speaking, observing and sharing ideas cannot be bought.

"I would have to be very stupid not to take advantage of it."
