Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin is delighted with his move to Genoa.

Perin has signed on-loan to the end of the season.

He is reunited with several former teammates in the current Genoa squad, such as Mimmo Criscito, Stefano Sturaro, Goran Pandev and Davide Biraschi.

“The challenge, sense of belonging, love for the city, the jersey in which I made my Serie A debut, the history you can breathe in at the Pegli training ground, the coaches and people who saw me grow up, the energy that the fans provide from behind your shoulders," wrote Perin on Instagram.

“All of this is what pushed me to accept this challenge. I am returning to you Genoa for gratitude, because we must all help each other, because I've never been scared by a challenge and I feel the need to give something back to you and your fans.

“Mimmo, Stefano, Goran, Davide – I am ready to give my contribution!"
