Juventus go for Boga as Chelsea steps aside

Juventus are moving for former Chelsea starlet Jeremie Boga.

Sky Italia says Boga has emerged as a transfer target for Juventus after Chelsea waived their £7million buyback clause for the Sassuolo winger.

Boga moved to the Serie A outfit almost two years ago in a £3.6m deal, but Chelsea retained an option in his contract to repurchase the 23-year-old at a later date.

However, Chelsea have given up their buyback demand in exchange for first option on the Ivory Coast winger - who is currently rated at £26m.

It is believed that Napoli are in pole position to sign Boga in the summer transfer window, though Juve have now joined the race.
