Juventus go cold on Pogba pursuit - due to Zidane

Juventus have pulled back from their pursuit of Manchester United ace Paul Pogba - thanks to Zinedine Zidane.

TMW says Juve's attempts to bring Pogba back to Turin this summer have tailed off in recent weeks - and the reason is Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.

For several months, Juve have been working on Zidane returning to the club next season and replacing Maurizio Sarri. Included in the negotiations was the option of signing Pogba for the Frenchman.

But after Real won the LaLiga title and Zidane was confirmed at Real for another 12 months, Juve's hopes evaporated.

And with that, their move for Pogba has also cooled, with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho now the priority.
