Juventus GM Beppe Marotta was happy seeing Alessandro Matri prove the matchwinner against Inter Milan. Marotta has copped pelters for the price paid for Matri and also for missing out on Inter Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini, who he worked with at Sampdoria.
"Matri and Pazzini? They are two excellent players, Pazzini said he hoped to make a fresh start: we heard him ... Matri has 14 goals in the league and creates goals also, this is very important."
He continued: "(Frederik) Sorensen against (Samuel) Eto'o? A happy surprise that happens in football, we did not imagine he could make such an impact so soon.
"He is cold, typically northern, he shows potential."
