Juventus GM Jean-Claude Blanc is delighted with their summer market work.

"We are giving boss Ciro Ferrara a competitive squad," said the Frenchman. "The season will be a tough one, but Juventus' DNA includes the ability to never give up.

"I won't make any predictions or announcements as we'll define our objectives for the season with the team.

"So far we have shown that we can plan for the future and make important signings, but now we'll have to see what happens on the pitch."
