Juventus fullback Evra: I'll shake hands with Luis Suarez

Juventus fullback Patrice Evra says he'll shake hands with Barcelona striker Luis Suarez when they meet in Berlin for the Champions League final.

Suarez infamously snubbed Evra in 2012 during the pre-match handshakes at Old Trafford when the pair came face-to-face for the first time after the then Manchester United defender accused the then Liverpool striker of racially abusing him four months earlier.

Suarez, who will also meet Giorgio Chiellini again in Berlin on June 6, was eventually banned for eight matches and fined £40,000 over the incident which happened during Liverpool's 1-1 draw with United at Anfield in October 2011.

Asked about facing Suarez again, Evra said: "A lot of people ask me this question. It doesn't matter. The most important thing is I play the final, you know.

"I am proud to be what I am, I am proud about my colour and I will shake his hand, it is no problem, but I will make sure he feels my presence on the pitch."
