While Juventus are regarded as favourites to land the Bosman prospect, Can's minders are keeping the communication lines open with rival suitors.

Italian sources say Juve are aware that PSG have joined the battle for the midfielder's signature, with Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid all keen.

Bianconeri directors have conceded in the last week they could miss out on Can.

Juve chief Beppe Marotta said, "It's normal that situation has attracted a number of suitors for him as a player, we're doing and we have done our path.

"We know there are other clubs competing for him and these clubs are definitely among the best in the world, the fact remains that, as I always say, a player's destiny is in his head."
