Juventus are reportedly poised to offer defender Martin Caceres a new deal, amid interest from Liverpool.

Italian publication Tuttosport is reporting the Bianconeri are concerned about the possibility of losing the 28-year-old for nothing when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

It is understood the Uruguayan is keen to keep his options open and that includes weighing up a move to Anfield.

Caceres is set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a ruptured achilles tendon in early February.
