It's been announced Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has contracted the coronavirus.

Juve confirmed Rugani has been diagnosed with the virus, though is showing no symptoms.

"The footballer, Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic," read a statement.

“Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including those who have had contact with him."

This news comes after Federico Bernardeschi announced he was going to self-isolate in the Juventus Hotel due to an abundance of caution to protect his family.
