Juventus defender Bonucci happy with Coppa draw against AC Milan

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci says they can be happy with their Coppa Italia draw with AC Milan.

Juve and Milan drew 1-1 in the first-leg of their semifinal at San Siro on Thursday.

Ante Rebic saw his opener cancelled out by a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty in the final minute, while Theo Hernandez was sent off.

“It's important to score an away goal, but a team like ours cannot just be happy to allow Milan an opener and put the game in doubt," Bonucci told Rai Sport.

“We have to get back in shape, everyone needs to step up and do more. It wasn't a bad performance, but Milan pressed high and at this moment we need to do more, because what we're doing during the week is not enough.

“We're in the running on all three fronts, but certainly have to improve in the way we move the ball with pace, not get wrapped up in pointless bits of skill, as we have players who can change a game.

“There's a tour de force coming up in April, so we've got to sort our issues out and be ready for that."
