Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo was pleased with their 5-0 friendly defeat of Novara.
The result arrives just a week before Juve kickoff their campaign against Sampdoria.
“I'm satisfied, we only had two days to train all together," Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia.
“The lads are committed, which was the most important thing."
The expectations at the Allianz Stadium are clear for the new coach, who is expected to lift the 10th consecutive Scudetto in 2020-21.
“I'm the Juventus coach, it's normal that anyone who comes here must win. “I know I have to win, it was like that as a player and it will be like that as a coach."
