Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo has left the door open to a surprise move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Off contract in June, Giroud has been linked with a January switch to Serie A, where Inter Milan are keen.
However after victory over Udinese on Sunday, Pirlo was also asked about the Frenchman and refused to rule anything out.
He said, "The window opens tomorrow (Monday) and we have already talked to the club about what we want to do and if there are any options.
"We hope to do something in the next few days."
Pirlo then was asked about Giroud and he responded: "He would be useful..."
