Juventus sports chief Fabio Paratici admits they're delighted with the early impact of Matthijs de Ligt.

De Ligt is beginning to impress since his summer arrival from Ajax.

Paratici said, "We have always had an eye on this type of purchases.

"I think of (Paul) Pogba, (Kingsley) Coman, (Paulo) Dybala, (Alvaro) Morata, players who have scored a lot and are at the top.

"We are happy with De Ligt's performance and, having known him well over the past few months, we are convinced that we have made the best investment."
