Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has urged Andrea Barzagli to stay involved with the club.

The centre-half is retiring at the end of the season.

Chiellini said, “I hope Andrea [Barzagli] stays on with the technical staff. He's a special person, as well as an exceptional player.

“I'll certainly miss him so much, I had the honour of spending eight fantastic years with him.

“He's a person I can still learn so much from, let alone the young people who will come in."
