Juventus boss Allegri quashes Arsenal speculation

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has quashed rumours that he will move to Arsenal in the summer to replace Arsene Wenger.

Allegri said the following when asked about the rumors during his post-match interviews following the Champions League win against Tottenham: "No, because I have a contract until 2020."

Despite struggling in Europe early in his managerial career, Allegri is now seen as a top manager in the world game. He took Juventus to the final last season, and would want to go one better this time.

A move to Arsenal would be tempting, given the money managers get to spend in the Premier League. But Allegri is loyal to Juventus, and it would be unlike him to abandon the Italian champions for the English side in the summer.
