Juventus aim to sign Manchester United striker Robin van Persie in a cut-price deal. The Mail on Sunday says Juve will make a £5million bid to sign Van Persie, with the Dutch striker due to meet Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal to discuss his future at Old Trafford.
Van Persie is keen to stay in Manchester for family reasons and is willing to see out the final year of his contract.
He believes he has another four years at the top and, although he suffered an ankle injury against Swansea in February which kept him out for six weeks, he was fit to play for most of the season but was not Van Gaal's first-choice striker.
