Justin Kluivert says his move to AS Roma has him full of pride.

The midfielder joined the Giallorossi from Ajax in a €17.25m deal, with the 19-year-old signing a five-year contract.

“I chose Roma because I wanted a change," Kluivert explained to Roma TV.

“I'm happy with my choice. I chose Roma after talking with my family, we got a good feeling and I chose the Giallorossi.

“[Kevin] Strootman and [Rick] Karsdorp welcomed me well, it's nice to have them here to count on. It's an honour to wear the Roma shirt, especially since not many Dutch players have."
