Jurgen Locadia is hoping for a fresh start at Brighton under new manager Graham Potter.
The 25-year-old featured 26 times in the Premier League for the Seagulls last season, but is now focused on securing a regular spot in Potter's side, as the new Albion boss gets to know the playing squad.
He told the club's website, “It's a fresh start for everybody. It's also a new start for the coach, he doesn't know every player at the club just yet, so we've got a chance to show our qualities and make it hard for the coach.
“From what I've heard, he's a coach that likes to attack. I think we've got players that want to attack, so it could be a good opportunity for us, especially the strikers.
“My aims are to get a starting position in the team and play for the whole season. I want to be consistent on the pitch and be important for the team."
