Juanito is back with Newcastle United for preseason.

The Evening Chronicle says Juanito has made an understated return back to the club after a loan spell at Deportivo La Coruña last season.

United signed the former Recreativo de Huelva in 2016 but he failed to break through the ranks at United and was loaned out to the Spanish side back in January.

Juanito, whose full name is Juan Jesus Núñez Cumbrera, played 45 minutes for the club's Under-23 side during the 3-2 win at Barrow last week.

He is now with Ben Dawson's reserve squad in Scotland for a pre-season boot camp which will conclude with a game against Glasgow Rangers at the end of next week.
