Jose Mourinho is being linked with Marcelino's job at Valencia.

On the day the former Real Madrid coach was declaring he was "full of fire" to get back into management, serious doubts over the future of Valencia GM Mateo Alemany were being raised.

Alemany has fallen out with Valencia owner Peter Lim and could be forced out this week. And Marcelino could follow him as the pair are close.

Such a situation, says Mundo Deportivo, opens the door to Lim making a move for Mourinho.

The pair are close and it's suggested the idea has already been put forward by Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes, who is also a business partner of Lim's.
