Jose Gimenez is refusing to consider leaving Atletico Madrid.

Marca says Gimenez hasn't had the easiest of rides this season. Injuries have interrupted his campaign, but the only thing he's thinking about is winning the LaLiga Santander title with Atletico Madrid.

Having been at the club for they 2014 triumph but without playing much of a part in that success, accumulating just 90 minutes, this 2020/21 season means more for the Uruguayan.

Gimenez has been a fundamental player for Diego Simeone this season, and he feels as though he's part of the furniture at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, as well as feeling completely at home in the capital off the pitch.
