Super agent Jorge Mendes is planning to push Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo to Aston Villa.

Football Insider claims the Portuguese coach may want a change of scenery, after a relatively disappointing season at Molineux.

A Wolves source said that Nuno wants to go to a club with more financial resources and ambition.

Villa could be an option for the highly regarded coach, especially if billionaire owners Wes Edens and Naseef Sawiris choose to move on from Dean Smith.

Despite Mendes having significant ties to Wolves, given the number of Portuguese players he has helped to move to the club, he would have no problems facilitating Nuno leaving the club.
