Jordi Alba is delighted with his new deal at Barcelona.

Alba is enjoying another magnificent season for Barcelona and has been rewarded with a bumper contract that will keep him at the club until 2024.

Speaking to the reporters gathered for the presentation of his new deal, Alba expressed his delight at the extension.

"I am very grateful to the club and the board because it is a very emotional and special moment for me," he said.

"With this contract I will remain a further five years at home which, added to my eight years at the academy, will make it 20 years at the club.

"I hope we will have plenty more success."
