Joorabchian pushing Barcelona attacker Coutinho to join Arsenal on loan

Philippe Coutinho's agent Kia Joorabchian is doing his best to secure his client a new club.

Coutinho is not wanted at Barcelona, who want to cash in on him.

When his loan deal with Bayern Munich expires, the German club do not wish to sign him permanently either.

The Mirror says Joorabchian is working on a deal that could take Coutinho to Arsenal.

The Gunners certainly do not have the finances to secure a permanent transfer, but they may have the ability to agree a one or two year loan deal with Barcelona.

Coutinho's best years came at Liverpool in the Premier League, and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may see him as the ideal replacement for Mesut Ozil.

Barcelona would have to pay some of Coutinho's wages and cut their loan asking price if Arsenal are to seal such a deal.
