Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Joens has completed a medical with Liverpool, paving the way for a contract to be finalised.

The 28-year old Australian gloveman has long been linked with a Riverside Stadium exit and will finally get his dream move to Anfield after the clubs recently agreed a $AUD4million (£2.3m) fee.

Jones will join on a three-year deal with the Boro academy graduate's move expected to go through at some stage today.
