Phil Jones has signed a new contract with Manchester United.
The 23-year old defender has penned an extension, with the option of a further year, which will keep him at Old Trafford until at least the summer of 2019.
Jones, who joined United from Blackburn Rovers in 2011, admitted it was a great thrill to commit himself to the Red Devils cause.
"I am delighted to have signed a new deal. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far and am looking forward to continuing my development as a player," the England international told the club's official website.
"This a great club to be part of and I cannot wait to start the new campaign. I would like to thank the manager, coaching staff and fans for their continued support."
