Former Lens fullback Jonathan Clauss has explained choosing Olympique Marseille over Chelsea this summer.

Both clubs were in for Clauss this summer.

But he explained, "Obviously when OM calls you, my decision was quickly made.

“OM was the continuity of the progression, many criteria selected at the start. The style of play, the championship, the Champions League… It was all that suited me.

"That's why I made that choice."
