Fulham boss Martin Jol has defended his team selection for their FA Cup replay with Blackpool.

The Dutchman will field a weakened team against the Tangerines but still insists he is desperate to progress.

Jol said: "I feel that we need to change the team to maybe give players like Dimitar Berbatov a rest.

"But I have to make a decision on that because I still feel that, under the circumstances, it is very important to stay in the cup."
