Jokanovic lauds Fulham bravery in thrilling Burnley win

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has praised his side for playing "bravely" in Sunday's 4-2 win over Burnley.

Jean Michael Seri scored a thunderous long-range goal to open to scoring for Fulham before Jeff Hendrick grabbed an equaliser shortly after. A double from Aleksandar Mitrovic within the space of two minutes restored Fulham's lead.

James Tarkowski scored before the half-time to peg one back for the visitors. But it wasn't enough as Andre Schurrle's late goal sealed Fulham's first victory since returning to the Premier League.

"We played well today," Jokanović stated. "We must work hard daily at the training ground and look for our best performance.

"We played bravely, we showed ambition to score the goals, we showed ambition to push forward and look for a second and third and fourth.

"This fourth goal, from my point of view, arrived a little bit late for us. Between the third and fourth we had many chances to finish the game off, but fortunately we scored the goal and killed the game."
