John Bostock has revealed he turned down a 10-year contract from Barcelona as a junior player.
The midfielder is now a free agent after coming off contract at Nottingham Forest.
He recalled to BBC Sport: "When I was a kid, Barcelona proposed me a 10-year contract.
"Ronaldinho was my favorite player at that time, so they sent me a poster signed by him. I still have it in my house in London."
Since his time as a junior with Crystal Palace, Bostock has played for 13 different clubs.
Bostock added: "I have become an expert packing and unpacking. I have the speed record in that. My wife has helped me throughout my career. Sometimes she has believed in me more than me."
