Stefan Johansen was delighted to gain a first start for new club Celtic.
The 23-year old Norwegian midfielder, who joined from Stromsgodset last month, played a full 90 minutes in the weekend's 1-0 home win over St Mirren and admitted it was a thrill to play in front of the Hoops' faithful.
"It was fantastic," he told Celtic's official website. "It was good to get a full game. I haven´t played a game since November so it was great to get out there.
"You feel that you need to get into a game as soon as possible because although you can train as much as you want, it´s not the same. I just went out there and played my usual game in my usual style and thankfully for me it went well.
"The crowd were great and this is why I came to Celtic because I want to play first team football and I want to do well and entertain them. It was a huge day for me."
