Aron Johannsson was again amongst the goals for AZ Alkmaar on the weekend, netting a double in their 3-1 win over SC Cambuur.
After Michiel Hemmen opened the scoring for Cambuur in the sixth minute, Alkmaar hit back when Johannsson provided the assist for Roy Beerens to score an equalizer in the 35th minute.
Maarten Martens flicked on for Johannsson to score the go-ahead goal just before the break prior to the USA international grabbing his seventh league strike of the campaign with a nice curling effort with just over 20 minutes left.
Johannsson, who scored a dramatic winner for the US in World Cup qualifying against Panama on Tuesday, has now netted 12 goals in all competitions for AZ this season.
