Helmond Sport striker Johan Voskamp is being heavily linked with a move to Sydney FC.
Despite having a year to run on his contract in Holland, the Dutchman has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave if he wishes.
Sources in Holland told tribalfootball.com that the 25-year old is close to a move to the reigning A-League champions contrary to belief that he was set to join new club Melbourne Heart.
Last season, Voskamp netted 22 times in 33 appearances for Helmond in the Dutch Eerste Divisie (second division) and has also played with Excelsior Rotterdam and RKC Waalwijk.
