Suspended Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has spoken of clashing with Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic in France.

Barton had a year with Olympique Marseille and clashed with Ibra when facing PSG. The veteran admits he called the Swede 'big nose' while on the pitch.

He recalled to Four Four Two: "Will Ibrahimovic hate me after being called Big Nose? I do not know, you should ask him now that he is in the Premier League.

"It is like that all the time on the field, perhaps not in front of your eyes. Unfortunately, the cameras filmed it. We had a small collision. I was just making an observation.

"He has a big nose."
